Budo Taijutsu, or "Warrior Body Movement" is a fun way for both boys and
girls to achieve fitness and focus. Some parents may think the martial arts promote violence, but that is a myth. The martial
arts actually help teach self-discipline and
socialization skills. A typical class begins and ends with a bow to
the teacher and each other. After a warm-up, students practice our
art's particular skills,
which include rolls, kicks, punches, blocks, self protection, and avoidance training. What you won't see are tablets, televisions, or cell phones. Your child
will learn what it is to be still, challenged, and focused. They learn respect for themselves, their instructors, and their friends. Respect is something
that carries over into every aspect of life: at home and at school.
