TRAINING PROGRAMS

BUDO TAIJUTSU  (12+)

Budo Taijutsu, or "Warrior Body Movement" is the most effective way to deal with authentic "street" situations.  Born on the battlefield, it has been passed down through the millennia from teacher to student, this combat art combines unarmed techniques (punching, kicking, grappling and ground fighting), as well as a variety of ancient and modern day training tools.

Working with hard weapons (staffs), edged weapons (sword/knife), flexible weapons (rope/chain), and projectile weapons (shuriken or throwing stars) you will learn the necessary skills to pick up any object and use it efficiently and effectively.

KIDS MARTIAL ARTS (6 - 11 year olds)

Martial Arts is a fun way for kids to achieve fitness and focus.  They help teach self-discipline and socialization skills.  A typical class begins and ends with a bow to the teacher and each other.  After a warm-up, students practice our art's particular skills, which include rolls, kicks, punches, blocks, self protection, and avoidance training.  What you won't see are tablets, televisions, or cell phones.  Your child will learn what it is to be still, challenged, and focused.  They learn respect for themselves, their instructors, and their friends. Respect is something that carries over into every aspect of life - at home and at school.
